Pink Ribbon Program™
The Pink Ribbon Program™, founded by Doreen Puglisi, MS, was created to help meet the goals of the breast cancer survivor. These major areas of concern typically include: Body Image, Frozen Shoulder, Decreased Range of Motion in the Shoulder, Depression, and Anxiety.
Our instructor Cristy O’Connor has been trained in the Pink Ribbon Program as a Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist (BCES). This program is dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and positive body image to all breast cancer survivors. The Pink Ribbon Program is based on Pilates principles and exercises that will help to stretch and strengthen the Shoulder, Chest, Back, and Abdominal muscles, allowing women to regain full range of motion to those areas affected by breast cancer surgery.
The Pink Ribbon Program is suitable whether your surgery was 8-weeks ago or several years. Programs are designed to go at a pace that is suited for you accommodating all fitness levels. The results can be felt and seen early in the program. It takes time, commitment and dedication to achieve your goals, and we want to be there to help you in your recovery
